Our Bosch NEXXT washer doesn't always do a great job getting water out of clothes, and someone suggested that I check the coin trap. I found the trap, but when I unscrew it, only the black plastic handle comes out. The off-white gasketed plug stays in the drain.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do I just need to gently pry it out, or do I risk damaging the seal?

Thanks,

I've got the exact same problem: the black cap comes off, but the white plug stays put!

Did you ever get it solved? I've already broken one of the teeth off the back of the white plug trying to unscrew it, so I'm hesitant to do try much more!
