I cannot close the door on the washer. It seems the lock is engaged constantly. When I try to move timer to the end of a cycle, the latch remains closed and I can't push the door to latch it. Is this a door lock or a timer problem? I even tried unplugging power--didn't help.
Thanks

If the door catch lines up with the door switch holes, but won't shut, you have a bad door switch. You will need to remove the front bellows with a razor knife to get at the switch after you get the new one, then just use super glue to re-attach the bellows.
