I am getting an error code that I haven't found a definition for. It is L3 with an extra horizontal line on the L in the middle. Like "L-" put together. The machine is displaying this after about 20 seconds in any mode like startup or in cycle or what ever and the washer can not function beyond it with this error code displaying. Where is the definition for this error? What does this error mean?

The code could also be considered an upside down F and a regular E error code.

I am disappointed that none of the documentation identifies what "L-"E error code is. I did find it elsewhere by describing it as an upside down F and a normal E. The other location lead me to believe it had something to do with the thermistor (heat unit) at the bottom of the tub. I inspected it and found that one of the wires I had "spliced" had broken off and was now providing an open signal instead of a closed loop. The wire color on the broken wire was white and there was also an orange wire as well. I had replaced the thermistor recently and used the provided wire splice connectors, but the wire splice mechanism had apparantly cut deep into the wire causing it to break after some time (likely due to vibration while operating the washer).
