Question Washer Does Not Go Through Cycles
Model Number: LAT9206BAE   Brand: Maytag   Age: 1 - 5 years

Our top load washer begins to agitate as soon as we turn it on when it begins to fill. The timer does its thing, but agitation does not stop unless we open and close the lid when the timer indicator points at the next cycle. Replaced the timer, but that did not help.

Make sure you have the right timer for the washer, if so, you probably have a stuck water level switch, just confirm with ohm meter.

It's on the left side of the control panel, just replace it if you have no meter.
