Default Same problem

Sir,
I have tried just about every check listed in this thread. The motor shows no LED light. It has 120V across back/red and white/red. Even jumped across fuse . Tried reset multiple times. Any other ideas. Washer is 2 years old. Have tech and $79 bill for for checking problem coming tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

If there is no LED at all then the motor most likely is bad.

Thumbs up

Thanks for reply. GE tech checked and said same thing. Bought another machine, but not GE. GE tech said if I did choose to repair, remove fusable link completely. He said they now bypass that on repair calls. Thanks again for reply and information available on your website.

Default GE Washer WJSR4160G0WW

Gene,

My washer recently stopped agitating and spinning. Seems to fill fine and drain. Bypassed the lid switch, no change, checked the pressure switch, seems to working, and checked the agitator coupling. What else can we do??

Remove the front panel and check the status of the LED on top of the motor. Post the results.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric WJSR4160G0WW Washer | AppliancePartsPros.com

Do not see a led light anywhere. So I'm assuming its not on.

Did that. Can you tell me how much a motor would cost?
