The machine will spin empty, but when full, the load gets unbalanced and won't spin. So we aren't sure whether this is a spin problem or a balance problem. In any case, the washer won't spin with wet clothes in it.

I feel you have Clutch problem see this post I go into the detail of the issue and the DIY repair.

If you have basic mechanical skill sets and want to extend the service life of your FAV6800A machine this may get you back in service today.
