Maytag washer

Model Number: LAT97000AV Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years

My maytag washer only leaks when the front cover is on. I took it off to search for good size leak. I found nothing, I ran it in all cycles nothing. Left the front cover off for 3 weeks, no leaks.
Put the cover on Saturday major water on floor after first half hour of use.
Removed cover and we did a weeks worth of laundry, no leaks I have past repair experince and I have looked every where for this leak. Hard to find with front cover on.
Any thoughts
