Model Number: 11044936201 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
For the last couple of weeks my washer has been unbalanced, loud and moving during the spin cycles. The other day my husband took the front panel off and noticed the shocks on the r side in the front and back were unattached so he attached them back.
My washer isn't moving all over the laundry room now, but is still loud and spins like it is unbalanced and leaks water from the center of the bottom of the door down the front. Last August I had a PM check on the washer and was told "the bearings had some slack in them". Could someone please help and tell me based on what I have been told and what I am describing if the shocks are bad or the problem is with the bearings or both. I looked up the schematics of the inside of the washer and I don't even see where the bearings would be located. I am aware after searching the internet for days of the problems with this washer and the spyder bracket/bearing? Could this be my problem?? I don't want to have to pay someone to come out and look at this if it is going to cost as much or more to repair it as it would to replace it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! This is what I did to our Oasis/Kenmore washer. I opened the top and placed 3 high density foam cushions at the front and two sides between the tub and the sides. It may not solve your problem but it is
1 Easy to try 2 cheap 3 it worked for us I have already replaced the control board, the motor sensors, the harness between the control board & motor sensors including having Sears service make five trips to our house. |

Though I am having the same problems, noisy, off balance. and it looks like the seal may be leaking. Has anyone successfully repaired this problem? |
