Have a knemore 80 series washer that will work fine except it will only spin very slowly or not at all, but still fills, agitates, pumps normally. I took it apart and found a very worn motor coupler. Ordered and replaced the coupler but it still does the exact same thing after repair although it does spin a bit faster just not fast enough to get all water out of clothes. I have also checked for a loose piece of clothing in pump or tub area and have found none. Was told by a friend it could be the clutch spring or a brake shoe hanging up. Is this an easy fix?? If so am I on the correct track to solving my problem? My guess is a worn clutch but wanted to ask the experts if this is correct.
thanks Terry
