The washer works on all modes and automatically advances through each cycle. However, when it reaches the spin cycle on any mode the basin stops. The pulleys and belt spin as if it were working but the basin does not and the washer will not drain. I had an issue with the Wig-Wag before but have checked it and that appears to be fine. Since this washer is so old, I don't want to dump hundreds into it's repair but if it is a simple inexpensive fix I would like to try it.

Any suggestions?

My guess would be a bad pump or the belt broke on the pulley. If it has belts then it really old so maybe it is time for a new one. I'm thinking it won't try to spin until the water level goes down. If you want to replace the pump you'll have to get the water out. Click on your model number in your post and you'll get a schematic of your washer and the parts list. Call and get prices before you give it a try to see if it's worth it. A washer that old may not be worth it.
