Washer Repair

Kenmore 80 series washing machine will not spin. It will agitate but it will not spin on rinse or spin cycle. I checked the motor coupling and it seems everything was fine. Nothing broken.....Does anyone have any Idea? Thanks for your reply.

You have two likely suspects, the clutch and the drive block. I would replace the clutch as it is the more likely suspect.

Thanks for the reply. I have decided to replace the washer with a front loader since it was 10 years old.

Ok, good luck with that. If you got 10 good years out of the machine you did fine.
