My Maytag washer (MAVT236AWW) very noisy at washing cycle. It OK at spining cycle.

Lift the washer up from the front, remove the belt and check how freely the pump pulley is moving. Most likely the problem is a bad pump bearing.

- The part number for the pump is AP3873289

How freely pump pulley moving? Not that much.
So I have to replace the pump ? Or............

Faulty pump bearing is one of most common problem with this washer. I believe replacing the pump should solve the problem.

how can I access to the pump? from bottom or side of the washer?

Remove the rear access panel. If it would not help then remove the front panel.

I replaced the pump. The washer still noisy.
The sound like metallic sound.
