Washer Repair

I have a Kenmore model 110.26902691 that washes ok, but when it gets to RInse cycle, it just keeps wash cycle going. IF I turn Timer to SPIN , it will not do anything. Cannot drain water out at this time.

Does this happen, no matter which cycle you select? Check the lid switch.

.....otherwise it would not fill up with water and wash clothes.

When timer gets to Rinse, it just keeps watching and the Spin cycle, when turned to it, does not spin at all.......

Could this be a Timer gone bad or something else??

First check the lid switch.
