Does anyone know how I would take out the inner spinner from the washer. I have already taken out the aggitator and the 4 screws that hold the spiner to the outer tub (under the agitator). But I can't seem to figure out how to remove the spinner fron the shaft transmission and the outer tub. I have the drawings that I downloaded forn the Maytag web site but they don't give me directions how to do this. Any help is appreciated.
The reason im taking out the spinner is beacuse a started seeing streakes of oil coming from around the transmission shaft. Could this be a broken gasket, that i nned to get to. Or is it an accumulation of dirt and grime over the past years that finally built up so much? Are any of these assesments practical???
