washer will fill but won't run

Model Number: 24422300 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years

Last night we had a bad storm and now my kenmore washer won't work it will fill but doesn't seem to have power to the dial. I tried every setting and it won't do anything

It was the safety switch on the door making it not run
