Most likely the problem is a bad motor drive coupling (#13 on the break down diagram). Here are the complete instructions on how to replace the motor drive coupling.

- The part number for the motor drive coupling is AP3963893

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool washer Model LSC8244EQ1
