Ge Clothes washer becomes a spinning monster
Model Number: WJSR2080V1WW Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
I have a GE washing machine mod- wjsr2080v1ww 11 yrs old. It wobbles out of control, makes an awful noise in the spin cycle even when nothing is in it. I did not pull motor out to get a better look, but all screws seem intact. Anything to look for? Stabilizers on 4 sides seem ok. Want to know if its worth putting in a new transmision brake assem? ( at $150+) Clothes are pilling up, need help quick. Thanks

Pull the front panel and look above the tranny for leaking water from the tub seal.If ok, you just might have a loose spin basket, just check
