This is my second Matag that stopped working. The first one died after 10 months and the Matag Repair men could not fix it so I bought a new one. I continued to let Matag attempt to repair the first one but after 6 months got tired and threw it away. Since it was clear that they were guessing, I figured on this one that lasted two years befor breaking down, I could get some help and guess as well as them. The washer stopped mid cycle and displayed a message" The motor is not working". Then another messages "Speed inductor error". After waitinng 15 miutes, I was able to drain it with a spin cycle.

Does this mean that the motor is bad or maybe something else like a sensor, a controller or the main control board is broken?

If I can get this running quickly and affordably, I will be happy. If I cannot fix it it will be the third washer in as many years. I know one thing, the next washer will not be a Matag. Can you recomend a brand that does not break down just in case?
