Model Number: lsq9665jq4   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years   

tub doesnt always spin out water pump working ok

Shine a lite in the tub and look for something in there, if ok, pull off the outer cabinet, pull the pump and motor, and try to turn the tranny coupler clockwise. If very hard to turn, you have dragging brake shoes. Post results. If so, go to my article in the general talk section, page 5, replacing direct drive brake shoes.

you can actually hold inner tub or stop it in the spin cycle everything seems to stop ok when the lid is picked up is there a spin clutch or something like that that could be slipping

anybody out there have any input on this i dont think the brake is dragging
