I have a Ge Profile WPDH8800J washer. I just got it brand new, it's all hooked up, power and water is on. If I hit the start button it locks the door, then after about 30 seconds goes to pause. I've tried everything in the manual. Please help!

everything meaning: hoses checked, door is shut and locked, clothes in the washer and not in the washer, unplugged and replugged in. Hit the start button for 3 seconds.
I know there was more but can't think what else at the second.

Thank you very much for your help. I was so upset that I called the place that I bought it from. They in turn called GE and had them come out. It turned out to be the "motherboard" it was bad.
I couldn't believe it when they said it would take a week for the part to come out. I didn't even have the chance to use it yet.
Needless to say...I called the business back and they replaced the whole darn thing that day.
