agitator lose but not working properly

I Started A Load Of Laundry This Morning And The Washer Filled Normally. I Was Folding Clothes When I Noticed The Washer Was Making A Clunking Noise. I Opened The Lid And The Agitator Was Not Moving. You Can Reach In And Spin It Around And It Will Move Slightly On It's On But Only For A Couple Of Seconds. Is It The Complete Agitator Assembly That I Need Or Something Else?

I would pull the outer cover off the washer, remove pump and motor, and check for a busted coupler.
