Model Number: LBR5133AWO Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
I have a Whirlpool washer that when you try to start it the dial will spin freely. After a 3/4-1 1/4 spin it will engage the gears and allow you to set it for the wash. Is it the dial or the timer that needs to be replaced?

Most likely the problem is a bad timer and usually it happens if the timer has been turned CCW.
- The part number for the timer is AP3607885 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool washer Model LBR5133AW0 Gene.
