Where does this gasket go? (seal replacement)
Model Number: LWA50AW Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
My tub seal (at the transmission shaft) was leaking water, so I'm in the middle of installing a hub and seal kit. The kit contains a paper gasket that fits on the hub, but there was no such gasket on the original assembly and I don't see it on the parts diagram. My question: does it go between the hub and the lint filter or between the lint filter and the inner tub? Or should I leave it out since the machine didn't have one originally?
