I have a maytag washer A712, Yea I know it is old and I am not trying to get a new one just fix this. It will only run in the spin mode will not fill with water or agitate, just spin then stop, I took the panel apart and all lookes good. What to do Next....

Does the motor run in the wash mode? Have you tried it in all wash cycles?

You'll need a meter and the schematic. The schematic will show which wires at the timer to test.
