Model Number: WLW3300BBL Brand: Hotpoint Age: More than 10 years
Good Morning, I think. I have an old Hotpoint washing machine that has decided to start leaking. (understatement) I think the last load ran thru it
got off balance and actually pulled the loose from the tub. I started to run another load and I had water every where. Took the back off and looked up underneath and the boot from the tub to the transmission assembly is out of place. It seems to be loose all around the tub and seems to have pulled loose from a clamp. I'm broke so it's either fix it myself or find a cheap used washer. I'm guessing I'll have to remove the top and the basket just to get at it. What am I really looking at. Should I even try it? Thanks, Mikey9976 Ads By Google Related Models |

I am a big fan of these models, I think they were really good machines but I am not a big fan of repairing them. They seem to have about a 15 to 20 year life, so yours is statistically near the end.
I would buy a good used top loader, which in our area you can get for $100 to $140.
