I have a whirlpool washer. I changed the clutch and coupler yesterday. reconnected everything and it would fill then would hum and we could hear the timer. Motor got warm, but nothing else happened. Any thoughts?

A couple of things could be at work here, assuming that your motor was working well before you changed out the clutch and coupling.

You may have a capacitor problem or not have it connected well, or bad connections to the capacitor. You may have jammed the motor shaft into the coupling, you may have a problem with the pump or you may not have the transmission back in correctly.

None of these are particularly likely, but they are the first things you should check.
