My washing machine spills water unto the floor when it starts to spin

. The load level is on medium or high when it happens. We have been using the low setting and laundering a less that optimum amount of clothes. We have a neice for a guest and it happened twice before she was told about the problem

. It has now came back to our attention and see no reason not to repair the machine because it works fine other than that. I am quite handy and feel I can do the repair or make the adjustment, but don't know what the problem is

. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Zilar

Zilar,

Remove the washer cabinet (the instructions are attached) and inspect the tub ring (#8 on the diagram) and the outer tub. Post the results.
