I have a maytag neptune model MAH8700AWW. It seems the struts (dampeners) are worn out. I can move the drum easily with very little pressure from the inside. It also bumps like crazy when spinning, of course.

Does this model have 4 struts? When looking at the parts diagram, it appears it has front and back sets, but I can't tell for sure.

Also, are these easy to replace?

A complete model number will help us to determine the correct replacement parts. Yes, they are fairly easy to replace.
