Pull the machine out far enough from the wall that you can tilt it back against it. Have a friend watch the spin basket shile you rotate the large white pulley in the center; first one way (does the agitator agitate?) then the other direction to see if it spins. If it doesnt, chances are you need to replace the thrust bearing. It comes as a kit: Part number: AP4009132
