Hi,
I have a Maytag top loader that stops at the rinse cycle still with water. This seems to happen when we load too many items and seems to be getting worst. When we remove the clothes and scoop out the water it begins to spin and drain. Extra rinse cycle seems to not work entirely. Washer is making a loader then usual sound. Any help?

Thanks

Just tested it again, it looks like the rinse and extra rinse cycle does work with a light a load. Only with heavy loads does it stall.

I would check your drive belt, if worn, replace it AP4034872. Before replacing, make a diagram how it is routed around the pump and also verify your pump and tranny are not sticking in the spin direction.
