When we start our GE washer with a full load of clothes .It makes a awful loud rubbing sound it sounds like a tight belt rubbing sound .Half way through the cycle it eases then stops making the soaud ayy ideas.

Gene Got to thinking what we did when we had the old wringer washers .We would take out the agitator and grease the shaft with vasoline.I did that to this machine and presto the noise stopped.Did a load of rugs .No noise . Just a simple fix.So i will try a couple more loads in a couple days and see what happens. Thanks for your concern. Harry
