Holes develop in towels
Model Number: WTW6400SW3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
We launder towels using liquid bleach according to the manufacturers directions. That is, we use the bleach dispenser). In a short time, holes develop in the towels. What is the problem and how do we fix it?

Are the rest of your clothes being torn? If not, the problem is the bleach. Try using white vinnigar instead.

Question about substituting white vinegar for bleach
Does white vinegar kill germs as well as bleach?

I've been told bleach doesn't kill germs: It whitens them. I don't know if it works as well as bleach, but it does so without weakening the material.
