How to remove timer mechanism/knob
Model Number: LAT3914AAE Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
I need to replace the timer, but do not know how to remove the control knob or the mechanical mechanism from the front panel. I have the front panel off. Please help

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for MAYTAG LAT3914AAE Washer - Top Loading | AppliancePartsPros.com See section 4. Looks like the center cap Item 3 pops off then you push the retainer Item 11 to one side to release the knob.
