Smile replacing the drum bearings of a LG WD-80130F Washing machine

Hi Guys,

Can someone please guide in the right direction. I have a LG WD-80130F Front Loader washing machine and I need to replace the drum bearings but don't know whether I have to take the whole out the washing machine or there is a simple way to do it. I would like to fix it myself so please any advise/guidance will be highly appreciated it.

Crunch into Google (LG CS Academy) and select the same name. Find your model # and download the service data. As far as I can see, they do not give tub tear down info, but the info can be of some help. When pounding out bearings, make sure you do not pound out good bearings, just pound out the bad ones.

I myself was looking for some information regarding the bearings on an LG machine and was refered to your site after a couple of searches so I decided to repair my Own Machine after a repairman took a hike when he discovered the drum was off as he put it..Since I repair Industrial washing machines It was not really a problem for me to repair it more inconveniance I decide to take a few pictures and give it to the web there's evan a pdf of the page to download I took the veiw that a lot of people would not have the Ideal tools for the job so I put myself in thier shoes and did the job with very basic tools Hammer,Chisel,Pliers,socket and screwdriver Check it out here fixitwithpictures.com © Copyright Chris Copland 2008 Web design by Chris Copland
