Had a power failure. Not sure if it came from the washer because the problems with the washer happened after power failure but I have it plugged into a surge protector.

It continues to lock (hear it) then it makes that funny sound like it's trying to lock

- tried several times to reset by unplugging washer for lengthy periods of time

- checked all wire connections and cleaned them, nothing seemed unusual

- replaced door latch

- cleaned all around door area to insure a good seal

- I have to manually unlock it after all attempts

Now I don't know what else to do. I am wondering if I need to replace the door wire harness and if so, I need to know what part to order.

Any help would be great... thanks:confused:

See if you can use the diagnostics and trouble shooting techniques in this service manual to diagnose it. Start with the door switch.
