At all water temperature settings except cold/cold, the washer fills throughout the whole cycle, even spin, and even when the pump is removing water, and the machine does not drain completely at the end. On the cold/cold setting, it initially fills and just keeps filling as the agitation starts, and eventually would overfill and leak out. But I am able to stop the overfill by pushing in the control knob and moving it one click to the next part of the cycle, whereupon the machine drains and the rest of the cycle runs normally, filling and draining as it should. Pump is fine, drain hose is clear and in right position. My question, unless there is a simple fix I have not discovered, is do I probably need to replace the main control box, or the water temp control, or both?
