The F06 error code on the HE3 elite is a tachometer error. Per the tech sheet, it says to check all connections and continuity between the MCU, CCU and Drive Motor. Everything seems to check out except the drive motor. The tech sheet says normal reading is at 6 ohms. I have tested the resistance and it is about 0.5 - 0.6 between the three pins (1-2, 1-3, and 2-3). The tech sheet says infinity is abnormal but doesn't say what to do if the ohms are close to 0. Does this also mean the motor is bad?

The infinity reading would say that the windings have an open circuit. The zero reading could mean that they are fused together in some way.

Before you invest in a new motor, though, make sure your meter is set on the correct scale, and try to test the Ohms reading pn your meter on something you know for sure, like other parts of the washer in the tech notes.

Also, if you are testing through the MCU the problem can be in the MCU or the wiring to the motor.
