Default washer wont aggitate
Model Number: GVW9959KQ2   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

I have a Whirlpool GVW9959KQ2 washer, it fills up with water but then won't switch to the next step. Someone mentioned that it probably needs a mother board (also known as a motor control board). Is there any other reason this problem may occur other than what was listed in your troubleshooting guide? Is there a different part/controller that may need replacing instead of the entire board? If I change to rinse it won't fill up again, but will drain, so it may be stuck at aggitate.
