Error F 21 - and it was flashing
Model Number: WFW8300SW02 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I have an error F 21 and it flashes. The washer is still full of water.

You got the F21 error because the water did not drain from the machine.
After 8 minutes if the machine has not drained the control unit shuts things down. You want to take off the bottom service panel and disconnect the pump (water will come rushing out so be prepared with something to catch it) and clean things out. If the pump is not working, test to see if it is getting power and if so, replace it. Inside the lower service panel you will also find tech notes that will explain the error.
