I replaced the broken tub and rear tub assembly on my Frigidaire Gallery washer and the old rear weight does not fit into the new rear tub assembly. Maybe it's a redesigned replacement part? Is there another weight that should be used? I don't see it in the Appliancepartspros website.

I don't know of any redesign but check back with APP (we are volunteers and not associated with the parts operations) and make sure they got you the right part. They may also have some insight on the weight issue.

Thanks for the reply. I fixed the problem by drilling mount holes in the weight and placing it in the new housing. Seems to work fine now. Gave me an excuse to get a new drill and some concrete drill bits.

Well you should not have had to do that, but glad it worked out and thanks for the update.
