just replaced the washer coupling . now fill half way with water it runs 2 minutes then shuts off , then comes back on for two mintues and after while kicks the breaker spin cycle works fine the agitaor turns at same speed no matter what speed set at looks like if put clothes in will stop it dead didn't try that yet

You may have put the coupling too tight against the transmission base or motor or both. Neither of these should protrude out of the coupling ends. They should only be flush. any farther against the housing can cause binding. Their is a special tool you can buy to properly install the coupling.I use a socket. I have had people bring in their machines to my shop(I do not make housecalls). It is easy to bind these couplings.
