Model Number: 11020722911   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years   

need to replace the direct drive assembly but don't know how to take motor off / or outside case . when lay on side oil comes out any directions thanks morris mdevore@inbox.com

If the washer was slinging out oil before, you have a bad tranny. Remove panel screws, tilt panel back, remove the spring clips, remove lit switch connector, and remove outer shell. Look at tranny for oil leaking. If so, you have a bad tranny.

it wasn't on mine...i was an idiot and left it on it's side and it drained out...can you refill the transmission? if so how?

Clamp the tranny in a bench vise, make it level, then take the cover off and re-fill with 90 weight gear oil.
