Model Number: 11045872404 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
This is a continuation of the problem from my 12-6-09 post.
Some time ago I did some repairs (replaced shock absorber, door latch) to my washer after an out of balance load caused damage. Since the repairs, a small puddle of water is left on the floor after a load of wash is done. I opened up the top and noticed a crack in the dispenser part and some gouging to a plastic piece in the back (it seems to be some kind of air vent). Before I go ahead and order parts and install them, I want to see if I can find out why the machine did not detect the "out-of-balance" condition and stop spinning. Thanks.
