Model Number: LSR8444LQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Agitator does not turn in any of the cycles selected. Accompanied by a "clicking sound" in vicinity of the cycle control knob.

Did the motor run during the agitation?
Did it spin and/or drain? Did it make any noises? More information you posted - more chance to help you better. Gene.

The first thing I would check (for continuity) is the lid switch (#11 on the top parts break down diagram).
- The part number for the lid switch is AP3100003 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool washer Model LSR8444LQ0 Gene.
