Washer Repair

I bought a clutch for my washer and can't figure out how to get to it.
Should I approach it from the top or bottom? Do I need to take the cabinet off or can I get to it from the bottom?............HELP!

Hi,
the directions where great! thanks so much
Now I'm having trouble getting the shaft all the way up to bolt on the motor. any suggestions?

I assume you mean the transmission shaft, and that it will not go all the way up into the machine so you can bolt it on.

Play with the clutch by turning it as you gently push the transmission up. You want to get the brake release cam in the right position.
