I need to replace the snubber on this washer. To do this it looks like I have to remove the brake stator. There is a warning label on it saying there is a 200 lb. spring in there. Do I need to get the brake removal tool # 35-2442 to do this or is there a weekend repairman trick I can use?

Never mind about the brake removal question. I found the post with the suggestion to use longer bolts to remove the stator. Thanks
