GE washing machine fills with water but does nothing else. The time works.

Most likely the problem with your washer is a bad lid switch. Unfortunately the GE does not make it any longer.

Hi jrgreulich
Why you believe the lid switch is good? How did you test it? If you have the wiring diagram or schematic of your washer, can you scan and post it? It might help a lot.

i have the same prob. the lid switch is still good. i checked with my multi-meter. I had a sock stuck in the pump the burnt my I/O relay. replaced that and now it still wont do anything but fill with water. Yes i removed the sock.
