GE washing machine fills with water but does nothing else. The time works.

Hi jrgreulich

Most likely the problem with your washer is a bad lid switch. Unfortunately the GE does not make it any longer.

Why you believe the lid switch is good? How did you test it?
If you have the wiring diagram or schematic of your washer, can you scan and post it? It might help a lot.
