Can anyone please tell me how the agitator is removed on the Amana washer, I see no bolt in the center.

I believe it just snaps down over top of a notched drive bell
that looks like this.



You would grab at the bottom on each side of the agitator and
give it a good tug strait up. (and hope its not stuck)

If stuck, wrap a rope around the bottom of the agitator and around a 2x4 and pry off with the top as leverage.
