Loud banging noise during spin
Model Number: 417.43042200 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
Our front loader washer is making loud banging noises and we have taken off back and are trying to figure out where noise is coming from... how do we determine difference between struts, shocks, bearings?

If the bearings are bad the sound is usually more like a roaring engine, so with banging I would think it is you support shocks, or possibly the spider support on the inner tub.
