The clothes coming out of my washing machine have been coming out very linty lately. Is there anything I can do about this? Is there a lint trap somewhere that needs to be cleaned?
Thank you.

I would dump a gallon of vinegar in the washer and let sit for several hours, then run if for a wash cycle. The spin basket has a plastic comb filter that can get clogged up from cheap soap residue.
If this fails to work, you will need to pull the spin basket out to clean the filter.

You will need to pull off the agitator exposing the spin basket drive block nut. You will need the special spanner wrench to get it off AP3538707.
